The Active Children Coalition will host its next meeting on 9th December, with over 100 confirmed invitations. The meeting will be the first since the coalition was officially launched on October 31st at ISCA’s MOVE Congress, and will include:
- A recap of the founding of ACC, from a workshop at an ISPAH conference, to the exciting moment that it is in today, with its own branding, website, mission and vision, and commitments from multi-sector actors to contribute to achieving its objectives.
- An overview of the people and organisations that have signed up to the movement, including the countries and sectors they represent.
- Recent initiatives led by founding members of the coalition, including website launch, a systems mapping, and project developments.
- A presentation of the four key areas of work – co-created by founders and participants of the coalition – that will be developed in 2026: Comms/dissemination/marketing; New initiatives development and fundraising; Systems mapping and related tools; Advocacy/outreach to additional organisations.
- The creation of working groups for participants to contribute their expertise and networks to each of the key areas of work.
- An opportunity for participants to share their own recent work that contributes towards the coalition’s objectives.
